Originally from a farming background Mark Rose started his training in 1980 within a market town practice of Chartered Accountants in Spalding and then pursued an Accountancy career in Industry with large farming and food processing companies in the UK, Holland and Germany. In 2006 he established Mark Rose Accountancy, initially working from a home office. As the business expanded he relocated to Foresters Hall in Long Sutton in 2018.

Mark is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants (AFA), and enjoys the hands on approach using his Industry knowledge. Alongside being an Accountant, as a former Rugby player he can be often be seen supporting his local side and also plays Double Bass in Jazz and Folk Bands. He also has a deep seated love of vintage cars and motorcycles.
